ABOUT

What We Do

  • We are a group of people who come together from all corners of the commercial vehicle and refrigeration industries to raise funds and awareness through exploits up hills and mountains.
  • The original founder members of the Ewe Must Be Joking team are Dave Evenett, Jarvis McDonald, Tim Clark and Kelvin Bull.
  • Dave, Jarvis, Tim and Kelvin started walking together in 1998, taking on the Three Peaks Challenge for charity.
  • In 2006, on April Fools Day, they set their own challenges, and Ewe Must Be Joking was born.
  • So far, we have raised over £7,500 for DIPG Awareness and the Brain Tumour Charity through the Alfie's Journey Fund.
  • We have also raised over £20,000 for all our charities in total.
  • We're always looking for new people to join us, and are incredibly grateful for the excellent support we have received over the years.

This Year

This is an annual outing, every year, in which Dave is set a challenge by Kelvin. This year is no different, however in a twist for 2017 he'll be joined by Alfie's uncle Graham, who has been roped in for his own personal challenge to conquer Snowdon.

The Ewe Must Be Joking gang will have their annual amble up a hill on Saturday 1st April 2017, on Sunday 2nd April Dave & Graham will set off on their personal challenges.
